Privacy Policy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

This policy covers collabetive.com and explains what we collect and why. To see what we hold about you or to have it removed, request your data or ask us to delete it.

Introduction

Collabetive Services, LLC ("Collabetive," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at collabetive.com (the "Site").

This policy applies only to information collected through our website and does not apply to information collected through our software products, which are governed by separate agreements.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our Site. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and understand how you use our Site.

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the Site to function properly
  • Analytics Cookies: Set by Google Analytics 4 to tell a returning visit from a new one. These are the only third-party analytics cookies on the Site, and Google Analytics and website measurement below sets out exactly what they collect and how to switch them off
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.

Google Analytics and website measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4"), a measurement service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the Site is used. It runs on every page of the Site, and it is the only third-party analytics service we use here. Because you cannot see what it does, it is set out in full below.

What GA4 collects while you are on the Site

  • Pages and interactions: the pages you open, when you opened them, how long you stayed, and the page, search or link that referred you — together with interactions GA4 measures on its own, such as scrolling, clicking a link that leaves the Site, downloading a file, and searching the Site.
  • An analytics identifier: a randomly generated number stored in first-party cookies on your device (_ga and a second cookie named for our GA4 property), which expire after two years. It exists to tell a returning visit from a new one. It is not your name, and we do not connect it to one.
  • Approximate location: country, region and city, worked out from your IP address. Google uses the address to derive that location and does not log or store the address itself in GA4.
  • Device and browser: device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language.

What it does not do. We use analytics for measurement only. We do not use it for advertising, we do not build audiences from it, and we do not use it to follow you across other websites, apps or devices. Nothing you type into a form here is sent to Google — your name, email address, phone number, message and any files you upload go to us and stay with us. We do not use analytics data to try to identify you, and we do not sell it.

Who processes it. The data is sent to Google, which processes it on our behalf as our service provider under the Google Analytics terms, and may process it on servers outside your country. What we see are reports about visitors in aggregate.

How long it is kept. Google deletes the individual records tied to the identifier above at the end of a limited retention period. The reports we read describe visitors in aggregate and are not subject to it. The surest way to remove yourself from this data is to stop it being collected at all, which the next paragraph explains.

How to switch it off. Any one of these stops GA4 on this Site:

  • Block or delete cookies for collabetive.com in your browser settings.
  • Install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which stops GA4 on every site you visit, not just this one.
  • Block www.googletagmanager.com with a browser or extension that blocks trackers. That is the host the tag loads from, so nothing is collected and nothing is sent.

Switching analytics off costs you nothing on this Site. No page, form or purchase depends on it.

Information sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you (e.g., email service providers, hosting providers, and the analytics provider described above)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • Protection: To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure hosting infrastructure
  • Regular security assessments
  • Limited access to personal information on a need-to-know basis

Children's privacy

Our Site is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
